Old School Toasters 1.2.1 should run fine on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and later. If you're using an older version of Mac OS X, consider this alternative or After Dark X. If you're running Windows, you're on your own.
How do I install it?
The download consists of a zip archive named OldSchoolToasters.zip. Your browser might unzip it for you, or you might have to double-click it yourself. Either way, once it has been unpacked you should have a file named Old School Toasters.saver in your Downloads folder. Double-click that file to install the screen saver. Easy as making toast!
